GUIDE - Fitting our generic CPR Bodywork kits to your kart

Sometimes, our sidepods aren't the exact mounting system to fit your kart - although all of our Nosecones and Nassau panels will fit. The sidepods are the only tricky part. When it comes to sidepods, you have two options:

#1 – Pay substantially more for the genuine product (if available)

#2 – Change/Modify your sidepod bars to fit our sidepods

We always recommend #2 as it lowers your cost of replacements – if you have a bingle out on the track, it’s really cheap to replace the pods and you’ll always have a brand new looking kart.

There are two ways you can go about #2. The easiest is to buy our kit with the sidepod bars included, then modify our sidepod bar to fit your kart. This usually involved bending one or both of the front/rear bars to suit, or in some cases it may require an extension of the front bar (usually when the bar plugs into the front of the chassis on an angle, rather than perpendicular). The second solution is to modify your existing bars although this is tricker because you’ll need to align the re-inforcement rail, as well as align the tabs with the nutserts inside the sidepod.
