I finally got my 6 year old Sam out on the track at the Ipswich dirt track tonight, on his CPR rookie kart. 

 

He was pretty reluctant at first, but after his first run he was hooked. I've had a GX200 clone engine on it as well as the Subaru, both fit pretty easily. The ICDK club are an awesome bunch, always ready to help, and the other kids there are courteous & patient with beginners on the track. I spotted heaps of CPR gear in the pits there too.
