Go Kart Ignition Kill...

Complete Ignition kill-switch Assembly.

Designed to be used with CPR 4-stroke engines after installing a cluch but also suits all standard 4 stroke race kart engines with cowling mounted on/off switch.

Includes steering wheel mount bracket.

Shrink-wrapped leads to avoid any inconsistent cut-outs while out on the track.

Lead is approximately 1500mm long but can easily be extended if a longer run is required.

To fit to our CPR 4-Stroke engines, open the black plastic barrel cover next to the on/off switch on the red cowling. Disconnect the fluro green bullet connector that connects to the black wire.  Connect the male fluro bullet connector you just disconnected, to the female bullet connector on the new kill switch (red wire).  Connect the female bullet connector on the black wire to the male bullet connector on the new kill switch (white wire) as shown in the pictures. 

**NOTE:  YOU MUST TURN THE SWITCH ON THE ENGINE TO THE OFF POSITION.   If the switch is on the engine is left in the ON position then the new kill switch will not function.

Now the remote killswitch will stop the engine in the ON position, and allow the engine to run in the OFF position.  If you prefer to have the switch reading on and off differently you can unscrew the nut on the switch and remove the on/off label tag and then re-install it the other way around.
