I researched a few of these kits and I thought the mount was going to be plastic. When I received I was happy to see that it was metal. The kit is very good quality and the filter looks alot better than the 'thin' ones I've seen.

I also received the number "88" carby jet. At first, I left it with the stock jet... however it was hard to start and although I'm not an expert... it must've been running too lean, as the engine wasn't running right.

Once I replaced the jet with the #88, the engine would start easily and not bogg down, when revved. It instantly became more responsive.

I can't tell you if it adds more horse power, but I can say that the engine does feel more a lot more responsive. I'm very happy with the selection of this air filter upgrade. Plus it looks really cool!

I installed this kit on a standard 6.5hP honda clone.
