TCC1234C TORQUE CONVERTER

 

After agonising over how I was going to build my Kart... Paul provided me both the pro's and con's of a torque converter and a clutch. Once i decided the purchase the torque converter, the only challenge was fitting it to the kart while allowing the engine to remain in its conventional position. It can be done. I moved the seat away from the engine about 30mm and also only moved the engine otwards ever so slightly. Once the correct fit was achieved the results were amazing.

The Kart takes off very very quickly, with great bottom end power, and the top end is also slightly better. It's responsiveness and power has increased and although I can't measure how much faster it takes off, you definitely feel it.

I'd recommend getting one for anyone in doubt.
