Hi all,
I was having 12 months off from speedway racing due to the birth of our first son but was introduced to dirt kart racing by a friend ( as a cheaper option apparently lol ) and have now built one to race at Ipswich.
It was a bit of a learning curve as I had never built a kart but I purchased a chassis from CPR and it had now put the following parts together.
CPR rear axel
CPR front end and steering wheel
CPR seat (xl to match my oversize figure I had to modify the seat mount to suit the larger seat see pics)
CPR Brakes
Arrow Ax9 side pods modified to fit the CPR side bars.
Lifan Honda Clone with a few add ons
The new cam was installed tonight so I am very keen to see the difference
Hey mate, the kart is looking great, glad to see your getting the thing set up,
which cam did u choose? have you done any other modifications to the engine?
Your Kart is looking good! I remember chatting with you at the track about my CPR chassis ect.
I wonder if anyone would know if a CPR chassis has won a race at Ipswich yet? If not, we have something to work for!
Josh,
Yes a few extra mods aswell.
Stage 1-2 Cam
Billet Flywheel
Aluminium pushrods
New guide plate
Adjustable fuel jet
I am going to make a new exhaust aswell.
Jason,
Where are you based I would like to ask you a few questions about how you have done a few things on your chassis
Cheers mate,
I will see if I can make it out. Are you available during the week at all as I am only at forest lake
