PDXC02BIG.jpg

STRUGGLING TO REACH THE PEDALS?

If you, or your little ones are having trouble with the stock height or distance pedals, our pedal extension and brand new heel stop blocks will get them where they need to be.

Our precision CNC Billet pedal extensions are the best on the market, offering several positions for comfort,  or for growing kids - start them on the longest extension and move them away as required as they grow. They're easy to install and offer loads of positions as well as the ability to easily swivel out of the way if a taller driver needs to fit.

Usually blocks are required to assist with the smaller foot length being able to reach the stock pedal height. Our new heel stop raising blocks are the perfect complement to a new set of pedal extensions and will get smaller drivers feet up where they need them to operate the pedals.

You can find our pedal extensions here:

And our heel stop raising blocks here: https://www.cutpriceracing.com.au/store/Heel-Stop-Raiser-Blocks-Pair/

THIS WEEK'S DIY GUIDE

RearInsertGuide

SATURDAY NIGHT GUIDES - Replacing Rear Crash Bar Mount Inserts

Have you ever wondered how a rear crash bar is held in place on a traditional 2-stroke chassis?  What holds those studs into the tube rails?

Well, there are actually little rubber inserts inside the frame that are compressed by a bolt and nut to squeeze thicker and friction holds them inside the frame, allowing you to use the other end of the bolt just like a stud.  When painting or reconditioning a chassis, you may need to remove the old ones and install new ones.

You can find our range of inserts in our store by clicking here: https://www.cutpriceracing.com.au/store/Crash-bars-and-linkages/

Here's a quick step-by-step guide to assemble the bolts and inserts in the kit:

VIDEO Geoff's Lotus Build EPISODE 23
FRIDAY NIGHT FUN !  Geoff's Scale Lotus Build EPISODE 23

"In this episode I finish the chainguard's and they look nice" - Geoff

If you love Geoff's build (like us) then you can show him your support by subscribing to his youtube channel - juscozcustoms - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1ZvgC4Faps

GeoffLotusEp23.JPG

You've seen that dream car - the deep gloss paint glistening in the sun, beckoning you closer to touch it's smooth surface - to open it's door, jump into the driver's seat and turn that key (or press that button if your dream is a bit more modern). And then the reality hit's - it's not yours - and worse still, you can't afford it. It's the reality most of us motor enthusiasts suffer on a a daily basis. BUT WHAT IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO JUST DREAM?

That's when Geoff decided it was time to change the rules. Affordability didn't have to get in the way of his dream! He chose to build his own - a 1/2 scale version of a Lotus 7. BRILLIANT! We agree! Thinking outside the box or square or circle is what Geoff is also talented at, and because his project is going to be just as much fun, he's decided to take us all along for the ride! Thanks Geoff!

This is Geoff's thread. Using CPR Kart Parts components, Geoff willl build his very own 1/2 scale Lotus 7. Keep an eye on this thread AND subscribe to his youtube channel to keep updated! We'll also be sharing his videos on our facebook page.

Want to know more about Geoff? Here's a bit of a run-down on the man behind all the fun:

What is this awesome thing you've built?
"1/2 scale lotus 7"

Why did you decide to build this project?
Thought it would be cool and can't afford to build a full size one YET...

What is still left to do to finish it?
"Lots of little things then body work."

What are you going to do with it when it's finished?
"Glorious drifts using a pair of cpr drift rings and maybe even get it on a gokart track"

Why did you buy your parts from CPR?
"Good quality parts at an affordable price "

What was the best thing about the CPR parts you used?
"I can't fault them. The machining and finish is perfect"

What other motorsport stuff are you into?
"I build custom cars not necessarily race cars but they can go fast"

You can follow Geoff's build along with us on his thread on our site, including all the videos as they are posted on youtube here:

HAVE YOU GOT SOMETHING YOU'D LIKE TO SHOW THE WORLD?

Project

Have you got a project you've completed using some CPR parts that you'd like to show the CPR Kart Parts community?

Email your project to [email protected]

along with a quick write-up of what you've done and why and we'll try to feature it in our future newsletters.

And remember, we're here to help you get out there racing!

You can always be sure your items will leave the same day you order as long as you've made payment by 2pm that day. Sure, it's a big claim, but I know shopping online is all about getting it before the weekend race day, and that's why I'm absolutely dedicated to getting our gear out the same day you order. I believe so strongly that this is a critical component of our business that I've devoted the last two hours of the day to ensuring just that. Don't be surprised if I can't get to the phone during these times as we're probably flat out! Just leave me a message and I'll call you back asap.

I know if you've bought from us before, you've had a great experience. Nothing's changed with our focus - we still want to help the average Australian race, but we're expanding our range every day so I'd love for you to check out our latest website updates and see if we can help you again, today. Go on, visit our store at www.CutPriceRacing.com.au - I mean, surely you've got a couple of minutes for fun?
