CMC001 clone camshaft review

 

These are a stock grind camshaft. nothing special about them except, these have the steel gear.

i converted an old pump motor for my Kart. This engine was being throw away because it wouldn't run properly.
i rescued it and once open, found the engine had a broken de-compression mech. it also had a nylon cam gear.
the problem was the the little valve opener tang would stay in the decomp position so the engine had full compression.

i puchased this cam as i didn't like the idea of a nylon gear and because the engine was hard to start with the decomp-mech tang removed.

once again, a geuine crank is 3 times the price and no better in my opinion.

i fitted this cam at the same time i swapped out the crank, and the engine is now easy to start and runs perfectly.


It's a stock grind, fine if you don't need a high performance engine.
